Where we work

Lebanon is a beautiful country on the Mediterranean, known for its vibrant cities, rich culture, warm and welcoming people, breathtaking mountains, stunning coastlines, and ancient ruins. In recent years, the country has faced ongoing economic and social challenges that have made daily life more difficult for many families, affecting access to education and stability.

Our partner - the warm house

The Warm House Ministry is a community center operating in the Bekaa Valley of eastern Lebanon near the Syrian border. Its mission is “Empowering and developing strong, healthy individuals, leaders, and communities—spiritually, academically, and socially.” The Warm House provides a safe, welcoming, and loving environment for both Lebanese and Syrian youth. Through a variety of programs, they mentor boys and girls, helping them grow in faith, character, leadership, and practical life skills.

What we do

In partnership with The Warm House, we sponsor three core programs: Girls Ministry, English courses, and Youth Groups.

The Girls Ministry provides a safe place for girls to be mentored in a small group setting. It also teaches practical skills such as making jewelry and crocheting toys.

The English courses were created to help young adults strengthen their English language skills and access better life opportunities.

The Youth Groups are impactful programs that bring together teenagers in an uplifting environment filled with worship, fellowship, and discipleship. In addition to spiritual growth, participants engage in fun activities like football, basketball, and hiking clubs.

Uganda

Uganda is a beautiful country of lush landscapes, tropical rainforests, and coffee and tea farms. It is home to diverse wildlife, including rare mountain gorillas. Its warm, welcoming people make it a truly special place. Many children face challenges driven by economic hardship, especially in rural areas, where families often lack consistent income and access to quality education and resources.

Our partner - God's grace ministry

God's Grace Ministry is a church and school serving 80 students in a village in Eastern Uganda. They offer free tuition, ensuring that children in their village get a chance to learn and grow. Their motto is "God and education for sustainable development."

What we do

By sponsoring God’s Grace School, we are committed to helping provide the children there with a quality education. For us, that means making sure they have a safe, supportive place to learn and the resources they need to succeed each day.

We are currently working to renovate the campus to create a more welcoming environment, including installing proper flooring to replace dirt floors, which will help reduce dust in the classrooms. We are also adding new desks so students have comfortable, appropriate spaces to study, along with providing school uniforms, required textbooks, and all the learning supplies they need. We also provide daily nutritious meals to make sure no child goes hungry.
