Meet The Team

Founder & Executive Director
Chase Clower
Chase graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas. After graduation, he worked for four years as a high net worth associate and trader at Fidelity Investments before beginning to feel a calling toward overseas ministry. He eventually moved to Lebanon, where he partnered with a local organization and taught English for several years. Through seeing the great need and opportunity around the world, he decided to found Hope In Every Backpack. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and working on his family's farm.

President
bryan adkins
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dallas Baptist University. He launched his career as a hedge fund analyst before transitioning into private credit and today serves as Chief Investment Officer at a wealth management firm. Bryan and his wife are the proud parents of two boys who bring them tremendous joy. He is an active member of The Village Church, where he has built deep, meaningful community over the years. Outside of work, Bryan can be found lifting weights, training in jiu-jitsu, playing sports with his boys, or recharging in the solitude of the outdoors. He cares deeply about loving God and loving people and believes Hope In Every Backpack embodies that conviction.

Secretary
Stephanie Lerohl
Stephanie has been serving vulnerable and orphaned children since 2006, when her family traveled to Lusaka, Zambia to work alongside local ministries. She has since led numerous trips, partnering with organizations that care for children living in poverty. In 2012, she lived in Zambia, working closely with housemothers in a children’s village—teaching nutrition and parenting skills to women who play a vital role in the lives of rescued children. She is driven by the belief that every child can flourish when given love, proper nutrition, medical care, and the understanding that they are unconditionally loved by God. She and her husband have been married for 39 years and have a growing family of children and grandchildren. Outside of ministry, she enjoys spending time in the mountains—hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter.
